I only just discovered, almost 2020, that the Major Tom demo was a cover of Peter Schilling’s great song. I used to listen to this over and over. Loved it – great music shines through even Pokey’s de-tuned aliased frequencies and four channels of sound.
That tune is really well done, especially when you look at how long ago it was done. Nowadays there are lots of advanced music tracker and editors. Not so back then.
